The Tank Wash Technician is responsible for performing all aspects of tank trailer cleaning, inside and out, including inspecting the trailer for residual product and post-cleaning inspection of the interior and exterior of the trailer.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Safely and effectively perform all duties to prepare, clean and inspect tank trailers including but not limited to: vents, valves, clean-out caps, clamps, hoses, loading/unloading lines and other equipment that is to be cleaned as per required tank cleaning procedures.
• Properly operate atmospheric testing equipment and understand the use and care of rescue equipment used in confined space rescue.
• Comply with Company provided literature and training and all existing Federal, State, Local and Company requirements, rules, and regulations that pertain to personal safety in the performance of duties.
• Complete paperwork for Confined Space Entry, shipping and receiving of cleaned units, and operation of facility software for TW tickets, billing, safety, etc.
• Maintain an environment of cleanliness and safety within the wash facility and in regards to all equipment and tools.
• Other duties as assigned by management. High School diploma or equivalent Mechanical ability and inclination Excellent attention to details Ability to speak, read, and understand English for comprehension of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) chemical information
• Ability to navigate basic computer software and other business related software.

1-2 years of relevant work experience in transportation, chemicals, supply chain, manufacturing, or logistics. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to work Experience in pressure washing, hydro-blasting, and/or working with chemicals highly preferred Ability to work indoors, outdoors and in extreme temperatures and weather conditions for the entirety of the work shift Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights. Ability to stand, bend, stretch, reach above head level and climb up and down ladders Ability to pass all pre-employment background checks and drug screen Work Authorization/Security Clearance (if applicable) The company complies with the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986, United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) by employing only U.S. citizens and non-citizens who are authorized to work in the United States.
