Job Summary We are seeking energetic and dedicated Overnight Janitorial Cleaners to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment during nighttime hours. In this vital role, you will be responsible for performing comprehensive cleaning tasks across commercial, industrial, and residential facilities. Your efforts will ensure that our spaces are spotless, well-maintained, and ready for the next day's activities. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies. Conduct detailed floor care procedures including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a professional appearance. Handle custodial duties such as trash removal, dusting, window cleaning, and surface sanitization to uphold hygiene standards. Maintain and operate cleaning machinery and tools safely and efficiently. Assist with light maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or reporting larger issues to facilities management. Follow established safety protocols and ensure all cleaning activities comply with health regulations. Document completed tasks accurately in shift reports and communicate any issues or needs promptly. Requirements Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles, preferably with commercial or industrial cleaning backgrounds. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, and general sanitation practices. Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards. Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks during overnight shifts. Reliable work ethic with the ability to work independently during night hours without supervision. Nice-to-have skills include residential painting experience, facilities maintenance knowledge, porter experience, or additional industrial cleaning expertise.
