Job Overview We are seeking a motivated Nighttime Cleaning Person to maintain the cleanliness and safety of our facilities during overnight hours. This energetic role involves performing thorough cleaning tasks, ensuring the environment remains pristine and welcoming for staff and visitors. Duties Perform detailed cleaning of classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors to maintain a spotless appearance, including floor buffing as needed Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in designated areas following safety protocols Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper to ensure facilities are fully equipped Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance issues or safety hazards and report them promptly Use custodial equipment effectively for industrial cleaning tasks and floor care procedures Maintain cleanliness standards by adhering to established procedures and safety guidelines Requirements Prior experience in cleaning, janitorial work, custodial duties, or facilities maintenance is highly desirable Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques, including floor care and buffing methods Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as vacuums, floor buffers, and industrial cleaning equipment safely Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards Ability to work independently during night shifts with minimal supervision Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift Excellent time management skills to complete assigned duties efficiently within scheduled hours Join us in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment that supports our educational mission!
