Job Overview We're seeking a dedicated Environmental Services Technician to help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients, staff, and visitors. This role is essential in preventing the spread of infection and ensuring the facility remains sanitary and well-maintained. Responsibilities Clean and sanitize patient rooms, bathrooms, hallways, public areas, and common spaces Sweep, mop, scrub, vacuum, and maintain floors throughout the facility Remove trash and replace waste receptacle liners Clean furniture, fixtures, windows, vents, and equipment Change bed linens and replenish room supplies as needed Safely handle cleaning chemicals and disinfectants Follow OSHA, EPA, State Health Department, and facility safety guidelines Report maintenance issues and safety concerns promptly Requirements Minimum 1 year of environmental services, housekeeping, janitorial, or related experience High School Diploma/GED, related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience Must be at least 18 years old Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift Ability to work a flexible schedule Must be able to read and write English to understand instructions and chemical labels Strong customer service, communication, and teamwork skills Ideal Candidate Detail-oriented and dependable Committed to maintaining a safe and sanitary environment Demonstrates professionalism, accountability, and a positive attitude Able to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced setting
