Job Summary:

Liberty Tire Recycling has an immediate opening for a Plant Custodian in Port Saint Lucie, FL. This position will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the plant and helping with painting and maintenance on the buildings.

Responsibilities:

Perform general cleaning duties such as cleaning, mopping, sweeping, dusting, and vacuuming designated areas Clean and sanitize restrooms, break room, and other common areas Empty trash bins and ensure proper disposal Maintain cleanliness of offices and hallways Perform painting projects when required Operate cleaning equipment and machinery safely and efficiently Operate a forklift to transport material safely and efficiently Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel Other duties as needed

Requirements:

Previous experience in janitorial or related roles is preferred but not required Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods Comfortable with hard labor and exposure to various cleaning agents Proficient in using hand tools for maintenance tasks Basic painting skills Knowledge of safe forklift operations and safety protocols Willingness to work in hot, wet, or noisy conditions Liberty Tire Recycling is an equal opportunity employer.
