We're hiring a dependable, detail-minded Building Janitor to help keep a beautiful beachfront condominium clean, safe, and welcoming for the residents who call it home. If you take real pride in a job done well and like seeing the difference your work makes every day, we'd love to meet you. What you'll do You'll keep the building looking its best and running smoothly. Day to day, that includes: Cleaning building entrances, walkways, and the beachside patio area daily (removing litter, sweeping, tidying lobby seating) Following a set floor-cleaning schedule each weekday: scrubbing floors, cleaning window sills, and wiping down visual surfaces Polishing stainless steel elevator frames as needed to keep them looking sharp Cleaning laundry rooms, the management office, stairwells, handrails, and common doors Cleaning the lower parking garage (litter removal as needed, sweeping or vacuuming bi-weekly) Setting out and washing dumpsters and the compactor on a regular schedule, and emptying garbage cans throughout the property Marking and organizing packages in the postal area Padding elevators for resident move-ins and furniture deliveries Helping set up the Annual Meeting each January Logging any tasks or interruptions, and pitching in on association projects as directed by the Property Manager or supervisor What we're looking for A strong work ethic and genuine pride in keeping a property clean and orderly Reliability and good time management to stay on the daily and weekly schedule Ability to lift, bend, stand, and walk for extended periods, and to operate a floor scrubber A friendly, professional manner around residents and guests Common sense and a problem-solving attitude when day-to-day needs change Prior janitorial, custodial, or building maintenance experience is a plus, but we're happy to train the right person Why work with PBM Competitive pay: $21-$24 per hour, based on experience A stable, established company that's growing A supportive team that genuinely values work-life balance The chance to work steps from the beach in one of the most beautiful places in Florida Ready to take pride in a building you'll help shine?
