Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Janitor/Cleaner to join our dynamic facilities team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our commercial or residential facilities. Your energy and dedication will ensure that all spaces are hygienic, well-organized, and presentable for staff, clients, and visitors alike. Responsibilities Perform daily cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal to uphold cleanliness standards. Maintain floors through buffing, polishing, and proper care techniques to ensure a pristine appearance. Conduct detailed cleaning of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment. Handle custodial tasks such as window washing, surface sanitation, and restocking supplies to keep facilities fully functional. Assist with light maintenance tasks including minor repairs or reporting larger issues to maintenance teams. Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries. Support industrial or specialized cleaning projects as needed, utilizing appropriate tools and techniques. Requirements Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings. Knowledge of cleaning procedures, floor care techniques including buffing and polishing, and the use of cleaning equipment. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled hours. Basic understanding of facilities maintenance or industrial cleaning practices is a plus.
