Full Job Description Primary Purpose of Position:

This role, under the direct supervision of the Associate Pastor, has the primary responsibility for cleaning and maintaining locations to promote health and safety, as well as facilitating set-ups and tear-downs of scheduled events.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Monitor all rooms and notify the supervisor of any discrepancies or issues, such as lights out, structural integrity, leaks, etc. Complete additional periodic maintenance or custodial projects assigned by the supervisor or location Pastor Attend and participate in ministry, staff, and other required meetings Follow and complete daily, weekly, and monthly facilities schedules as assigned Travel to assigned location(s) to perform scheduled setups and/or teardown duties including, but not limited to, set up tables 6' or larger, set up/take down chairs, event decorations, area rugs, supplies, picking up debris from the floors, etc. Perform scheduled location cleaning for meetings, events, etc. including, but not limited to, mopping/sweeping floors, vacuuming, wiping/cleaning tables and chairs, picking up debris and/or taking out trash cans, etc. Report any and all issues to the Facilities Supervisor Perform regular custodial equipment maintenance and upkeep Provide custodial support as assigned for groups and other special events hosted on assigned location(s) Maintain all facility bathrooms to include detailed cleaning of floors, counters, toilets, etc. and restocking paper products Monitor the exterior location grounds to check for trash and dispose accordingly Follow all safety precautions and instructions for assigned tasks, ensuring a safe and hazard-free environment across locations Unlock/disarm and secure/alarm rooms and buildings as needed Other duties as required and assigned

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

High school degree or equivalent 1+ years of custodial, maintenance or related experience in the field Must be able to work a flexible schedule, to include nights and weekends if/as needed Positive attitude and self-motivated Must be able to lift 50 pounds and perform physical activities Self-starter and ability to prioritize Must be able to be flexible in assignments and support last minute changes Perform all duties, conduct and live by the Grace Family Church's Honor Code and Statement of Faith Regular attendance at one of Grace Family Church's multiple locations Continuation of education and spiritual growth tracks required, to include

Freedom Course Preferred Skills:

Experience or willing to learn Grace Family's software/computer programs to include: Mac computers, macOS applications, Rock, Planning Center Online, Google Productivity tools, Microsoft Office, Slack, etc. where needed Any trade experience would be helpful but not necessary Problem solving, time management, and organization skills a plus Commitment to maintain the appropriate level of confidentiality

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to safely lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical activities to include 80-90% of work time on your feet doing a wide variety of moderate physical activity both indoors and outdoors Physical functions may include, but are not limited to: bending/stooping, reaching above/below the waist, pushing/pulling movements, climbing stairs/ladders, etc. Must also be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time, to include entire shifts if needed Must be able to operate a motor vehicle, operate various equipment, and be exposed to various noise levels

Environmental Factors:

This role may be performed indoors and in an office setting This role may also be performed outside of an office setting, and/or outdoors; must be comfortable working in a variety of temperatures and climates, to include excessive heat or cold
