Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Night Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and safety of our facilities during overnight hours. This vital role ensures that our environment remains pristine, organized, and welcoming for staff and visitors alike. As a Night Cleaner, you will take charge of performing thorough cleaning tasks, handling custodial duties, and supporting facilities maintenance to uphold high standards of hygiene and presentation. Your proactive approach will contribute to a productive and positive workplace atmosphere. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and sanitizing surfaces across all areas of the facility. Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, polishing, and stripping to maintain a polished appearance. Handle janitorial tasks with precision, ensuring restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas are spotless and well-stocked. Support industrial cleaning projects when needed, including cleaning large equipment or specialized areas requiring custodial expertise. Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or reporting issues related to plumbing, electrical systems, or structural concerns. Maintain cleanliness standards by following established procedures for commercial cleaning environments. Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and stored properly for ongoing use. Skills Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial roles within commercial or industrial settings. Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, and polishing. Familiarity with facilities maintenance procedures and basic repair skills. Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as buffers, vacuums, and floor scrubbers efficiently. Excellent attention to detail coupled with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards. Physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks and lift moderate loads as required.
