This role is vital in ensuring that all spaces are hygienic, well-organized, and presentable for staff, visitors, and clients alike. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive attitude, attention to detail, and a passion for creating a pristine environment. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all designated areas. Maintain floors through buffing, polishing, and appropriate floor care techniques to ensure durability and shine. Clean restrooms thoroughly, restock supplies, and ensure hygiene standards are met consistently. Handle industrial cleaning duties such as cleaning large equipment or specialized areas as needed. Conduct general facilities maintenance including light repairs, replacing fixtures or bulbs, and reporting larger issues promptly. Support custodial operations by organizing cleaning supplies and ensuring equipment is properly maintained. Assist with additional porter duties or light painting tasks to support overall facility upkeep. Qualifications Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles with knowledge of commercial or industrial cleaning procedures. Familiarity with floor care techniques such as buffing and polishing to maintain high-quality surfaces. Experience in residential painting or facilities maintenance is a plus but not required. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow cleaning schedules and safety protocols diligently. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments. Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that involve standing, bending, lifting, and operating cleaning equipment for extended periods.
