Porter Demetree Global - 2.1 Winter Park, FL Job Details Full-time 4 hours ago Qualifications Sanitation Groundskeeping High school diploma or GED Property maintenance Attention to detail Full Job Description Description The Porter is responsible for the day-to-day cleaning, grounds and common area upkeep, and general appearance of properties and will assist staff, as directed, in managing the property in an efficient and professional manner. The Porter is also responsible for interior cleaning and turnover preparation of residential units following tenant move-outs. The Porter reports directly to the Property Manager. Essential Duties

• Responsible for the meticulous upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, parking areas, and other property buildings.
• Perform all cleaning duties, including dusting, polishing surfaces, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, cleaning sinks and toilets, cleaning glass doors and windows, and wiping and polishing mirrors, shelving, and fixtures.
• Perform turnover cleaning of residential units following tenant move-outs to prepare units for maintenance, inspections, and new occupancy.
• Complete interior cleaning of vacant residential units, including kitchens, bathrooms, appliances, floors, windows, fixtures, cabinets, and other interior surfaces.
• Represent the property in a professional manner at all times.

Responsibilities Clean and stock restrooms and common areas. Assist the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager and/or perform assigned maintenance tasks in a timely manner. Clean restrooms, and common areas. Report maintenance concerns and repair needs promptly. Inspect vacated residential units and report maintenance, repair, safety, or housekeeping concerns to management. Assist in preparing residential units for new residents by ensuring cleanliness and presentation standards are met. Always maintain the overall curb appeal of the property. Immediately report unsafe conditions and assist in ensuring timely correction. Ensure compliance with all company, local, state, and federal safety policies and regulations. Perform other duties as assigned. Job Qualifications / Experience Two (2) or more years of porter, janitorial, facility maintenance, or related experience preferred. Experience operating and maintaining industrial cleaning equipment preferred. Strong attention to detail. Excellent customer service skills. Strong problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Well organized and capable of managing multiple responsibilities. Education High School Diploma, General Education Degree (GED), or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Reasoning Ability Ability to identify problems, collect information, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret and follow technical instructions and safety procedures. Work Environment Work may be performed indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. The noise level is generally moderate.
