Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of floors, surfaces, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and techniques such as buffing and floor care equipment Maintain high standards of cleanliness in both commercial and residential spaces by dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces Conduct custodial tasks including trash removal, restocking supplies, and detailed cleaning of windows and fixtures Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or reporting larger issues to the appropriate personnel Support industrial cleaning projects when required, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards Use janitorial and custodial equipment efficiently while following safety guidelines to prevent accidents or damage Collaborate with team members to complete daily cleaning schedules promptly and thoroughly Requirements Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, custodial duties or related fields such as facilities maintenance or porter roles Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning methods Ability to operate cleaning machinery safely and effectively in various environments Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to prioritize tasks efficiently Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout shifts Excellent communication skills for teamwork and understanding instructions clearly Nice-to-have skills include residential painting experience, industrial cleaning expertise, or additional certifications in facilities maintenance or safety protocols Join us to make a difference every day by creating clean and inviting spaces!
