Handle cleaning chemicals and agents safely and effectively, following all safety guidelines and procedures. Operate floor buffers, polishers, and other custodial equipment to ensure floors are well-maintained and visually appealing. Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as restocking supplies, minor repairs, and reporting larger maintenance issues promptly. Assist with heavy lifting tasks using proper techniques to move furniture, equipment, or supplies without risk of injury. Follow safe lifting practices during manual handling activities to prevent accidents or strains. Support industrial cleaning projects or specialized custodial tasks as needed in various environments. Requirements Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred; familiarity with commercial or industrial cleaning is a plus. Ability to handle chemical agents safely while adhering to all safety protocols. Physical stamina and strength to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks comfortably. Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing floors. Experience with custodial equipment such as floor buffers and cleaning machinery is desirable. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and safety. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately in fast-paced environments.
