Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of floors, surfaces, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and techniques such as buffing and floor care equipment. Maintain high standards of cleanliness by dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting designated spaces. Conduct custodial duties including trash removal, restocking supplies, and ensuring sanitation protocols are followed. Assist with facilities maintenance tasks like minor repairs or reporting larger issues to the appropriate teams. Support industrial cleaning projects or specialized cleaning tasks in commercial or warehouse settings. Follow safety procedures diligently during all cleaning activities to ensure a hazard-free environment. Collaborate with team members to complete daily cleaning schedules efficiently and effectively. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience is preferred but not required; we value motivation and a strong work ethic. Familiarity with floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing is a plus. Experience in commercial cleaning or industrial cleaning environments enhances your suitability for this role. Basic knowledge of facilities maintenance or porter duties is advantageous. Ability to operate cleaning machinery safely and effectively is desirable. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards are essential. Previous residential painting or facilities upkeep experience can be beneficial but is not mandatory.
