  • based on experience Position Summary Progressive Facilities Management is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Day Porter to support one of our Automotive Dealership clients.
The Day Porter plays a critical role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers, guests, and dealership staff throughout the day. This position requires someone who takes pride in their work, has strong attention to detail, and can work independently while delivering exceptional service. Essential Responsibilities Maintain showroom floors, entrances, and customer-facing areas in a clean and presentable condition throughout the day. Monitor and clean restrooms regularly, ensuring supplies remain fully stocked. Empty trash and recycling containers as needed. Clean glass doors, windows, display areas, and high-touch surfaces. Spot mop, vacuum, sweep, and dust as necessary. Maintain employee breakrooms and common areas. Perform exterior policing of dealership grounds, including litter removal and maintaining entrance areas. Respond promptly to spills, safety concerns, and customer service requests. Assist with event setup, special cleaning projects, and additional duties as assigned. Communicate facility concerns and maintenance issues to management. Follow all company safety procedures and client-specific expectations. Qualifications Previous janitorial, porter, hospitality, or facility maintenance experience preferred. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong customer service and communication skills. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance. Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds. What We Offer Stable employment with a growing facility services company.
