We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Porter to support daily kitchen operations at Golden Krust Caribbean Restaurant. The Porter plays a key role in maintaining cleanliness, organization, and smooth workflow in the back-of-house area. This position is essential to ensuring food preparation and service areas remain sanitary, efficient, and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment used during food preparation and service Clean and sanitize workstations, food prep areas, floors, and kitchen surfaces Properly store and organize cleaned items in designated areas Remove trash and maintain cleanliness of waste disposal areas Support kitchen staff with basic tasks as needed to ensure smooth workflow Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards Report any maintenance or safety issues to management promptly

Requirements:

Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment Strong attention to cleanliness and detail Ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate to heavy items Team-oriented attitude and willingness to help where needed Reliability and punctuality are essential Previous kitchen or porter experience is a plus, but not required

Work Environment:

This role involves working in a busy kitchen environment with exposure to heat, moisture, and frequent movement. Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required depending on store needs.
