Duties Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, restrooms, lobbies, and common areas to ensure a spotless environment. Conduct floor care procedures such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a polished appearance. Utilize carpet cleaning equipment to remove stains and dirt, enhancing the overall cleanliness of carpets and upholstery. Follow established janitorial protocols to restock supplies, dispose of waste properly, and maintain hygiene standards. Operate environmental services equipment responsibly while adhering to safety guidelines to prevent accidents or damage. Maintain detailed records of cleaning tasks completed and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly. Support team efforts by collaborating effectively and ensuring all cleaning duties are completed efficiently and thoroughly. Requirements Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services with a strong understanding of janitorial procedures. Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning methods. Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as buffers, extractors, and vacuums safely and effectively. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, standing for extended periods, and climbing ladders when necessary. Strong organizational skills with the ability to follow detailed cleaning schedules and protocols. Prior experience in environmental services or commercial cleaning environments is highly desirable.
