Janitor/Cleaner

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor/Cleaner to join our team. This role is vital in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across various facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial, residential, or industrial cleaning and possess a strong work ethic. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the cleanliness and safety of our spaces while developing valuable custodial skills. Duties Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal in assigned areas Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas according to established standards Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring proper operation and inventory levels Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to ensure a hazard-free environment Qualifications No prior janitorial or custodial experience needed; experience in commercial or industrial cleaning is a plus but not necessary. Will Train on Site. Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks which may include lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery Excellent time management skills to complete assigned duties efficiently Reliable with a strong work ethic and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
