Blue Ribbon Custodial Job Description:

Blue Ribbon Custodial is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Custodian to join our team. The Senior Custodian will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of various facilities, ensuring high standards of sanitation and presentation. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can perform a range of cleaning tasks efficiently and effectively. This role is consistent, twice weekly, and requires self-motivation.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal. Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and other high-touch areas. Ensure facilities are maintained to a high standard, addressing any maintenance issues as needed. Execute cleaning tasks on a regular schedule, which may include once or twice weekly, and on weekends as required. Supervise and train junior custodians or cleaning staff when necessary. Manage and inventory cleaning supplies and equipment.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in custodial or janitorial services, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or senior role prefered but not required. Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality cleaning standards. Flexibility to work on weekends and adjust to varying schedules. Excellent organizational and communication skills.
