Custodian for Veterinary Hospital

We are looking for a dependable self-starter to help keep our hospital sparkling. Our custodians maintain cleanliness and perform general maintenance of our hospital. He/She cleans and disinfects kennel areas, treatment areas and employee spaces within the facility. This person would perform duties according to a task schedule. Additional duties of this individual include sweeping, mopping, dusting, removal of garbage and recycling, stocking of products, and disinfection to prevent contamination. We would be happy to train the right individual in OSHA compliance, contagious and zoonotic disease prevention and managment. Flexible Schedule. No weekends!!

Skills Needed:

• Ability to read and comprehend instructions
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds or over 25 pounds with assistance
• Ability to work in a noisy environment with sound from animals and equipment
• Take safety precaustions for exposure to toxins, drugs, anesthesia, radiation, and uncooperative patients
• Ability to bend, reach and stand and walk on hard floor surfaces for extended periods

Pay:

$13.50 - $16.00 per hour
