6:00am-2:30pm (Mon-Fri) QPS Employment Group has a great Cleaner position at a company in Forest City, IA. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire. Cleaner Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Sweep and mop floors in designated areas, including breakrooms and restrooms.
- Keep high traffic areas, such as door knobs, drinking fountains, and restrooms, sanitized and debris-free.
- Ensure eye wash stations are clean and accessible, and fire extinguishers are unobstructed.
- Clean windows and remove large debris to proper disposal receptacles.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards throughout the shift, following all safety protocols.
Cleaner Requirements:
- Ability to perform physical labor including prolonged standing, bending, squatting, reaching, twisting, and lifting over extended periods during 8-12-hour shifts.
- Must have a proven work history of several years, with emphasis on attendance and reliability.
- Ability to read and understand work instructions
- Flexibility to adapt to changing work environments; self-motivated team player.
- Physical capacity to work in warm and humid conditions during summer months.
- Ability to work in a dusty environment.
