Janitorial Worker First Class Cleaning Boise, ID Job Details Part-time From $15 an hour 9 hours ago Qualifications Removing debris Moving Driver's License OSHA Safety Certification Attention to detail Time management Full Job Description We have 2 weekend shifts open: Saturday and Sunday 11am-7:30pm and Saturday and Sunday 8am-4:30pm Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Janitorial Worker and play a vital role in maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming environments across our facilities. This energetic position involves performing a variety of cleaning and custodial tasks to ensure that all spaces meet high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Whether working in commercial, industrial, or residential settings, you will be instrumental in creating a positive experience for staff, visitors, and clients alike. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help keep our facilities running smoothly and looking their best. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and techniques such as buffing and floor care equipment Maintain cleanliness of windows, walls, furniture, and fixtures to uphold a pristine environment Conduct routine custodial duties including trash removal, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces Assist with industrial cleaning tasks when required to support large-scale maintenance projects Support facilities maintenance activities by reporting repairs or safety hazards promptly Use commercial cleaning supplies responsibly to ensure safety and environmental compliance Provide porter services such as moving supplies or furniture as needed to facilitate ongoing operations Requirements Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial, industrial, or residential settings Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, and general sanitation practices Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods Basic understanding of facilities maintenance procedures is a plus Join us in creating clean and inviting spaces that foster productivity and well-being!
