Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain pristine surfaces. Handle custodial tasks like trash removal, restocking supplies, and sanitizing high-touch surfaces regularly. Assist with industrial cleaning projects when needed, including deep cleaning of large areas or specialized equipment. Support facilities maintenance by reporting repairs or safety hazards promptly to ensure a secure environment. Maintain cleanliness during scheduled cleaning routines and adapt to urgent cleaning requests as they arise. Use commercial cleaning tools efficiently and follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or damage. Skills Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures. Expertise in floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing floors. Knowledge of commercial cleaning standards and industrial cleaning practices. Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for managing multiple tasks efficiently. Physical stamina to perform manual tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks like minor repairs or painting is a plus.
