Automotive Dealership Porter

Clement CDJR Columbia's service department is looking to add another porter! This is a entry level position perfectly suited for someone who's: Interested in working hard and open to learning more AND further advancing themselves in the industry! Employees can earn a college degree for no cost through the dealership! We are seeking a friendly and dependable Porter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with guest services, managing parking, and supporting dealership operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in customer service, and automotive environments. The Porter plays a vital role in ensuring a positive experience for our guests and maintaining smooth operations on-site. Duties Welcome guests and assist with parking in parking facilities Provide exceptional guest services by addressing inquiries and guiding visitors Drive vehicles as needed within dealership premises or delivery routes Assist with vehicle movement, including parking lot organization and vehicle delivery Support dealership operations by performing tasks as they are needed Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dealership lot and surrounding areas Communicate effectively with team members and guests to ensure smooth service flow Skills Valid driver's license with experience driving manual transmission vehicles is a plus but not required Good communication skills, ability to interact professionally with customers and team members Previous dealership or retail experience is not required Ability to operate a vehicle safely and responsibly, including delivery driving experience is advantageous Customer service orientation with a friendly demeanor and professional appearance This position is essential for providing outstanding guest experiences while supporting dealership operations.
