Job Summary:

The Plant/ Office Janitor is responsible for supporting plant cleanliness, housekeeping, and basic safety-related tasks. This role is essential in helping maintain a safe and orderly work environment by consistently following safety protocols and lead by example.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist with general housekeeping across the plant. Perform daily plant trash pickup, including walking the site Using air hose to blow down all machines, ceilings, walls in the plant. Clean plant signage across the facility

Operate Sweeper, Forklift and Skid Steer Skills and Abilities:

Strong safety awareness and consistent use of PPE Ability to work in extreme weather and dirty environments Reliable and self-motivated with attention to detail Basic mechanical aptitude for operating and inspecting equipment Ability to communicate effectively and follow verbal or written instructions

Background and Drug Screening:

Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening. Must be able to work in a hot and cold environment while wearing PPE Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical labor throughout the shift

Education and Experience:

Prior experience in the tire recycling or manufacturing industry is a plus.

Compensation:

$17.00 hourly. Paid bi-weekly.
