In this vital role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and custodial tasks that ensure our spaces are hygienic, organized, and well-maintained. Your proactive approach and dedication will contribute to a positive experience for everyone who enters our premises. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to be an essential part of our facilities team, supporting the overall cleanliness and safety of our environment. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all areas of the facility Maintain floors through buffing, polishing, and floor care procedures to ensure a professional appearance Clean restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to meet health and safety standards Use industrial cleaning equipment and supplies effectively for deep cleaning projects Assist with light maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs or minor repairs as needed Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment Support custodial efforts during special events or after-hours cleaning to minimize disruption Requirements Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings Knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care, buffing, and industrial cleaning methods Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as buffers, scrubbers, and vacuums safely and efficiently Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including lifting, bending, standing, and walking for extended periods Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices is a plus Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Join our team as a Janitor/Cleaner and play a crucial role in creating a safe, pristine environment that everyone can enjoy.
