POSITION SUMMARY :

The custodian maintains a clean environment, maintains equipment in a state of operational readiness, and ensures the safety of each area in all District facilities.

EAST CAMPUS HOURS

: Monday through Friday from 3:30 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. during the school year (August through the end of May or beginning of June). During the summer break period (June through the beginning of August), Monday through Thursday, with 10-hour days based on daily work hours chosen from the offered schedule.

WEST CAMPUS HOURS

Monday through Friday from 3:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m. during the school year (August through the end of May or beginning of June). During the summer break period (June through the beginning of August), Monday through Thursday, with 10-hour days based on daily work hours chosen from the offered schedule.

QUALIFICATIONS

High School diploma or equivalent Previous experience in a custodial or maintenance position preferred Demonstrated aptitude for the work to be performed Demonstrated aptitude as a self-starter who works with minimal supervision Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills Strong orientation toward providing customer service Strong work ethic Ability to work positively and productively with adults and high school-age students
