Qualifications :

Food packaging experience in the pharmaceutical/food industry

PREFERRED BUT NOT

NECESSARY, strong reading/math skills, ability to function in a structured cGMP environment, good work ethic, ability to keep track of gowning inventory, flexibility (overtime is sometimes required). Chemical mixing and sanitation experience is a plus. Washes windows and mirrors. Takes out the trash and recycling. Wipes down and sanitizes surfaces.

Cleans, sanitizes, and stocks restrooms. Sweeps, mops, polishes, and vacuums floors. Mows lawns, waters plants, and removes litter. Uses common cleaning tools and outdoor power equipment. Organizes the janitor closet and stores all supplies and tools. Completes minor repairs, like switching lightbulbs and unclogging toilets.

Physical demands:

Standing :

Prolonged periods of standing on production floor (up to 8-10 hours per shift).

Walking :

Frequent walking around production and packaging areas.

Lifting :

Occasionally lift and move products or materials up to 25-50 lbs.

Bending/Stooping :

Regular bending to inspect lower-level machinery or products.

Reaching :

Frequent reaching over and around equipment or conveyors.

Climbing :

Occasionally climb steps or ladders to access equipment or inspection points.

Repetitive Motions :

Repetitive hand and arm movements when conducting tests or entering data. Candidate must have his/her own reliable transportation, as duties are ongoing at three different locations (all within 2 blocks of each other). Employees need to be able to drive to each work location, especially if transporting cleaning materials. Hours are M-F 6:00am to 2:30pm with possible overtime and Saturday's.

Pay:

$16.25 per hour
