Seasonal Cleaner - Summer Turn Bloomington

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Seasonal Cleaner for the Summer Turn season. This role is perfect for motivated individuals who take pride in creating spotless, welcoming environments. As a vital part of our cleaning crew, you will ensure that all areas of assigned apartments are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and maintained to the highest standards. We are looking for dependable, hard-working people who take pride in their work, move with urgency, and can maintain high cleaning standards in a fast-paced environment. Previous professional cleaning experience is strongly preferred. Duties Perform detailed cleaning of vacated apartments, kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, and other assigned spaces. Clean and sanitize appliances, countertops, cabinets, sinks, toilets, tubs, showers, mirrors, fixtures, doors, baseboards, and floors. Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop hard floors, remove dust and buildup, and help bring units to move-in ready condition. Assist with industrial cleaning projects that may involve high-pressure washing or specialized cleaning techniques Follow company cleaning standards, checklists, and supervisor instructions to ensure consistent quality. Take before and after photos when required. Communicate with supervisors about progress, issues, and units that may need extra attention. Keep cleaning tools, supplies, and equipment organized throughout the workday. Work with the team to complete units on schedule during a high-volume turn season. Experience Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred, including apartment turns, move-out cleaning, hotel housekeeping, janitorial work, or residential cleaning. Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and equipment is helpful, although on-the-job training will be provided. Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to communicate clearly in English with supervisors and team members. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Must have reliable transportation to job sites in Bloomington and surrounding areas. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods during working hours. Preferred Qualities Experience with apartment turnovers or student housing is a plus. Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work well with a team.
