Job Description

Bowling Counter & Lane Porter Pinheads & Alley's Alehouse - 2.7 Fishers, IN Job Details Part-time | Full-time From $13 an hour 3 hours ago Benefits Employee discount Qualifications Customer communication Guest relations Crowd control Attention to detail Patience Full Job Description Bowling Counter Attendant You do not just check people in. You launch the experience. At Pinheads, the bowling counter is mission control. It is the first interaction. The first impression. The moment that sets the tone for everything that follows. We are not looking for someone to hand out shoes. We are looking for someone who owns the front line. If you are organized, fast, friendly, and thrive when things get busy, keep reading. What You're Really Here To Do You make the experience smooth before the first ball is ever thrown. You remove confusion. You create clarity. You bring energy.
You are:
The first hello when guests walk up The expert who explains how it all works The problem-solver when a lane acts up The steady presence when the line gets long No chaos behind the counter. No guessing. No "I don't know." Just control and confidence. What Winning Looks Like In This Role You greet every guest with genuine energy You assign lanes quickly and accurately You clearly explain scoring systems and lane features You handle shoe rentals efficiently and keep sizes organized You keep shoes clean and the area dialed in You process lane rentals, shoe rentals, and packages accurately in the POS You answer questions about promotions and specials without hesitation You communicate lane issues immediately and follow through until resolved You keep the counter and surrounding area clean and organized You jump in to support teammates without being asked If the line builds, you move faster. If a guest looks confused, you step in. If a lane goes down, you communicate immediately. You stay one step ahead. Who Thrives Here You will thrive in this role if you: Actually enjoy talking to people Stay calm under pressure Are organized and detail-oriented Can multitask without losing accuracy Have strong communication skills Take pride in getting the small things right Front desk or customer service experience is a plus. No experience but strong work ethic and great energy also works. We can teach systems. We cannot teach ownership. The Reality You will be on your feet It gets busy It gets loud You will lift up to 25 lbs, including bowling balls and shoe racks You will juggle transactions, questions, and issues at the same time This is a high-energy environment. The counter does not slow down. The Standard The bowling experience starts with you. If you want to stand behind a desk and coast, this is not the role. If you want to control the flow, create great first impressions, and drive the guest experience from the very first interaction, apply. Own the front line. Set the tone. Make it seamless.
