Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Janitor/Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. In this vital role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and custodial tasks to ensure our spaces are hygienic, organized, and well-maintained. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment. Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a pristine appearance. Handle waste disposal by emptying trash bins and recycling containers regularly. Maintain cleanliness of windows, glass surfaces, and fixtures to ensure clarity and shine. Assist with light maintenance tasks including minor repairs or reporting larger issues for prompt resolution. Use industrial cleaning tools and chemicals safely while adhering to health and safety standards. Support facilities maintenance by performing custodial duties that enhance the overall environment's safety and appearance. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings is preferred. Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, and use of cleaning machinery. Experience with residential painting or general facilities maintenance is a plus. Familiarity with industrial cleaning procedures and equipment is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow safety protocols diligently. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing time efficiently.
