In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of all gym areas, ensuring a safe and inviting space for everyone. Your proactive approach and dedication will contribute to the overall experience of our community, making each visit enjoyable and hygienic. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of gym floors, equipment, locker rooms, showers, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies Sanitize high-touch surfaces regularly to prevent the spread of germs and maintain health standards Empty trash receptacles and replace liners to keep the facility tidy and odor-free Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, including sinks, mirrors, toilets, and fixtures with attention to detail Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing extra attention or maintenance needs Assist with light custodial tasks such as dusting, mopping, sweeping, and buffing floors to ensure a polished appearance Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures and report any maintenance issues or hazards promptly Requirements Prior experience in cleaning, janitorial work, custodial services or facilities maintenance is preferred Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, and sanitation practices Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers or polishers safely and effectively Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods during shifts Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled hours Reliable with a positive attitude and a proactive approach toward maintaining a clean environment Join us in creating an exceptional fitness experience by ensuring our gym remains pristine and inviting!
