Custodian Maintenance

Position Overview:

The Custodian at CraneWerks is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment inside and outside the facility. This includes performing regular cleaning, groundskeeping duties, and handling minor building repairs to ensure the property remains in top condition.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and sanitize offices, restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas. Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors throughout the building. Collect and dispose of trash and recycling from designated areas. Clean exterior building entrances, sidewalks, and parking lots. Perform groundskeeping tasks such as removing debris, snow shoveling, and basic lawn care. Conduct daily inspections to identify and address cleanliness or safety concerns. Perform minor repairs including replacing light bulbs, fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and handling basic carpentry or painting as needed. Restock consumables such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper. Ensure all cleaning and maintenance supplies are stocked and report needs to management. Report major maintenance or safety issues promptly to supervisors. Adhere to all safety and health guidelines and procedures. Support setup and cleanup for company meetings or special events. Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in a custodial or maintenance role is a plus. Ability to safely handle cleaning equipment, tools, and chemicals. Basic repair skills (plumbing, electrical, painting) are required. Physical ability to bend, lift, stand, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
