In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and custodial tasks that ensure our spaces are hygienic, organized, and well-maintained. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will contribute significantly to the overall appearance and safety of our workplace, creating a positive experience for employees, visitors, and clients alike. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all areas of the facility Maintain cleanliness of restrooms by sanitizing fixtures, replenishing supplies, and ensuring hygiene standards are met Conduct floor care procedures such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to preserve flooring quality and appearance Handle industrial cleaning duties using specialized equipment for large-scale or high-traffic areas Assist with facilities maintenance tasks like minor repairs or reporting issues that require professional attention Support custodial operations by organizing supplies, restocking cleaning materials, and ensuring equipment is in good working order Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment to ensure a safe work environment Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings is highly preferred but optional. Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing Experience with industrial cleaning methods and equipment is advantageous Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or troubleshooting is a plus Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform thorough cleaning in high-volume environments Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting Join us as a vital part of our team where your efforts directly impact the comfort and safety of our environment!
