Company Overview The Mill Top is a stunning event venue located in the heart of downtown, housed in a historic converted flour mill over 140 years old. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer service and creating flawless experiences for our clients through our unique architecture and customizable event spaces. Summary We are seeking a dedicated Event Cleaner to join our team at the Mill Top Banquet & Conference Center in downtown. This role is vital in maintaining the cleanliness and overall ambiance of our historic venue, ensuring every event runs smoothly and leaves a lasting impression. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of event spaces, including floors, tables, and restrooms to ensure a pristine environment. Maintain cleanliness of common areas, hallways, and entryways. Handle waste disposal and recycling procedures efficiently. Assist with setup and breakdown of event spaces as needed. Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with team members to uphold the venue's high standards of cleanliness. Use appropriate cleaning equipment and products for different surfaces. Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly. Qualifications Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial, or custodial roles. Knowledge of floor care and industrial cleaning techniques. Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as buffers. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent time management abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks efficiently. Prior experience in facilities maintenance is a plus.
