Ludwig and Company, an Illinois property management firm with properties throughout the Midwest, is seeking a dependable and hardworking Grounds Person/Landscaper to join our team at a Section 8 apartment community in South Bend, Indiana . If you enjoy working outdoors, take pride in maintaining beautiful landscapes, and are committed to creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, we'd love to hear from you! Responsibilities Maintain the overall appearance of the property grounds and landscaping. Mow, trim, edge, and water lawns and landscaped areas. Plant, prune, weed, mulch, and maintain flowers, shrubs, and trees. Remove trash and debris from the property daily. Sweep sidewalks, parking lots, and common areas. Assist with snow removal and ice control during winter months. Ensure the property remains clean, attractive, and free of safety hazards. Report maintenance concerns or property damage to management. Assist the maintenance team with light exterior maintenance projects as needed. Requirements:

Requirements Previous landscaping or grounds maintenance experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate. Ability to safely operate landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hedge trimmers. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor throughout the day. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
