Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various environments. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Cleaner will play a vital role in ensuring that all facilities are well-maintained and presentable. Day shift 12a-6pm. Hourly rate plus monthly bonus. Responsibilities Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and polishing to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Carry out custodial duties in various settings, ensuring all areas are clean and sanitary. Assist with facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs promptly. Engage in industrial cleaning tasks as required, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Support commercial cleaning efforts by maintaining cleanliness in offices, restrooms, and common areas. Occasionally assist with residential painting projects as needed. Act as a porter by managing waste disposal and ensuring that supplies are stocked appropriately. Requirements Previous experience in cleaning or custodial roles is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with floor care techniques including buffing is a plus. Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while completing assigned tasks. Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties which may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Knowledge of safe handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment is desirable. A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in all assigned areas.
