Truck Washer

Description:

POSITION SUMMARY

Maintain a clean fleet of trucks and trailers by conducting regular washing and detailing help with oil and tire changes.

Service Shop Supervisor

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Utilize water, cleaning agents, pressure washers, scrubbers, etc. to maintain a clean fleet. Washing the outside of trucks. Detailing the inside of trucks. Filling out sheets to report missing required documents for the safety department. Reporting excessive damage/filth to management. Regular and timely attendance are an expectation of the position. Follow the 5S foundations for deploying lean production tools and processes.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

High school diploma preferred but not required. Forklift experience preferred. Pressure washing experience is a plus.

COMPETENCIES

Self-starter that takes initiative. Strong interpersonal, communication and organization skills. Ability to multitask and adhere to deadlines.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

Physical Activity:

Talking, hearing, repetitive motion, stooping, crouching, standing, walking, lifting, and climbing stairs.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time. Must be able to work safely in a noisy area with many odors present.

Visual Acuity:

Ability to operate machinery and determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned.
