NOW HIRING -1ST SHIFT GENERAL CLEANER

Monday-Friday Shift:
6:00 AM - 2:30PM Position Overview:
General Cleaners are responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of all assigned areas. This role includes performing a variety of cleaning duties to ensure the daily upkeep and overall cleanliness of the facility.Essential Functions:
- Sweeping, dusting, dust mopping, damp mopping, and vacuuming
- Carpet extraction, floor stripping, and waxing
- Trash removal and recycling
- Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and locker rooms
- Polishing areas within 10 feet of entryways
- Washing windows and cleaning interior glass
- Cleaning desks, walls, furniture, doors, countertops, boards, blinds, and light fixtures
- Snow and ice removal (as needed)
- Additional duties as assigned by the supervisor
Job Requirements:
Reliable transportation (required)- Strong work history Team-oriented with the ability to take direction
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- Attention to detail and efficiency Must pass a background check
- Minimum 1 year of cleaning experience
REQUIRED
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma preferred (not required) Previous cleaning experience is a plus
Physical & Working Conditions:
- Frequent reaching, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Extensive walking and standing throughout the shift
- Ability to work in varying temperatures (hot and cold environments)
- Must maintain productivity within established timeframes
