Custodian

Lawrence Public Library is seeking dedicated and reliable Custodians to help maintain a clean and welcoming environment for our community. This role is essential to ensuring that the library remains a comfortable and safe space for all visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and sanitize restrooms, floors, windows, and furniture. Remove trash and recycling from all areas of the building. Set up and take down furniture and equipment for meetings and events. Respond to cleaning requests and spills in a timely manner. Maintain cleaning supplies and report any maintenance issues.

Schedule:

Schedule for first position is: 6-10 a.m. Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday Tuesday & Saturday off Schedule for second position is: 6-10 a.m. Tuesday through Saturday Sundays & Mondays off

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED and moderate experience working with commercial cleaning equipment, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
