Janitorial Worker Job Description The Janitorial Worker is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the production area, ensuring a sanitary and clutter-free environment throughout the facility. Responsibilities Perform general housekeeping duties in the production area. Operate power scrubber to clean floors. Ensure restrooms are kept in an orderly and sanitary condition. Remove trash from various receptacles and transport it to the dumpster. Maintain production aisles and areaways free of clutter. Perform any other duties as assigned. Essential Skills Proficiency in cleaning and janitorial tasks. Experience with production environments is advantageous. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Additional Skills & Qualifications Physical capability to spend extended time on feet. Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination with hand/power tools. Capability to perform frequent stooping, bending, walking, carrying, and lifting. Ability to work off ladders, scaffolding, and scissors lifts. Work Environment The work environment involves extensive walking and manual labor, including lifting and carrying tasks. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Lawrence, KS. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
