Industrial Janitor

Overview We are seeking a dedicated Industrial Janitor to join our facilities maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and overall upkeep of industrial and commercial environments. Your efforts will directly contribute to maintaining a healthy, efficient, and professional workspace. The ideal candidate will possess strong janitorial and custodial skills, with experience in industrial cleaning and floor care. Schedule:

Monday - Friday 6am-2pm Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks across industrial facilities, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal to uphold cleanliness standards. Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as buffers, floor scrubbers, and vacuums to ensure optimal performance. Conduct specialized floor care procedures including buffing, stripping, sealing, and waxing to preserve flooring quality. Maintain safety protocols during cleaning activities to ensure a hazard-free environment for all staff. Assist with light maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs or minor repairs as needed. Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistent facility upkeep. Support custodial operations by stocking supplies and maintaining inventory levels for cleaning materials. Requirements Proven janitorial or custodial experience within industrial or commercial settings. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment operation, and floor care procedures including buffing. Familiarity with industrial cleaning products and safety standards related to facilities maintenance. Previous experience with residential painting or general facilities upkeep is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform tasks efficiently and thoroughly. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Good physical stamina for lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
