Job Description

Summary:
Responsible for ensuring the clean, sanitary and presentable appearance of areas within the building to which a person is assigned to clean.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Sweeping and wet mopping hard floors. Vacuuming of carpeted floors. Dusting all furniture (bookshelves, tables, etc.) ledges and horizontal surfaces. Emptying trash cans as well as removing/disposing of trash. Clean/Disinfecting restrooms and break rooms, as applicable. Clean/Disinfect/Polish water fountains Clean door glass/windows for fingerprints/smudges. Clean/Disinfect kitchen (appliances, cabinets, drawers, etc.) Completing other job duties as may be requested.
Minimum Requirements:
General knowledge/experience of commercial office cleaning preferred, but not required. Must have valid driver's license. Must be able to read, write, and follow oral/written instructions. High school diploma or GED required.
Essential Talents:
Service, clean, or supply restrooms Monitor building security and safety by performing tasks such as locking doors after operating hours or checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created. Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
