Janitor/Cleaner

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Janitor/Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and custodial tasks to ensure that all areas meet high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Your efforts will directly contribute to creating a positive experience for employees, visitors, and clients alike. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all designated areas. Clean restrooms thoroughly, restock supplies, and ensure sanitation standards are met consistently. Handle industrial cleaning duties such as deep cleaning of carpets, windows, walls, and other surfaces as needed. Support custodial operations by managing cleaning supplies inventory and ensuring equipment is properly maintained. Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or hazards during cleaning activities. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings is preferred. Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks such as basic repairs or painting is advantageous. Previous porter or facilities support experience will be considered an asset. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices throughout all cleaning procedures.
