Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of all areas within the industrial building, including floors, restrooms, offices, and common spaces. Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, and floor scrubbing to maintain a pristine surface appearance. Utilize commercial cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently to ensure high standards of hygiene and safety. Assist with custodial tasks like waste removal, and surface disinfecting to promote a healthy environment. Support facilities maintenance by reporting repairs needed for lighting, plumbing, or structural issues promptly. Maintain cleanliness during shift changes by organizing supplies and ensuring all areas are ready for the next team. Follow safety protocols diligently while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment to prevent accidents or injuries. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in an industrial or commercial setting is highly preferred. Proven skills in cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, and detailed sanitation practices. Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and commercial cleaning products. Experience with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or reporting larger issues. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
