3pm to 11pm Velociti Services is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Rest Area Cleaner to maintain cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards at highway rest area facilities. This role ensures a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all visitors. Key Responsibilities Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors Empty trash receptacles and replace liners throughout the facility Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper Clean high-touch surfaces including door handles, counters, and railings Maintain cleanliness of indoor and outdoor common areas Sweep, mop, and pressure wash designated areas as needed Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages Follow all safety procedures and sanitation guidelines Provide professional and courteous interaction with the public when needed Requirements Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 25-50 lbs Reliable transportation to assigned locations Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Must be able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays Must successfully pass a background check Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred, but not required Preferred Qualifications Experience in janitorial, custodial, or facilities cleaning roles Strong attention to detail and time management skills Ability to work in high-traffic, outdoor/public environments Velociti provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
