Pineville, KY As an Extension Custodian, you will be responsible for the overall maintenance, cleanliness and other basic custodial aspects of the Extension office. General duties include facility management, cleaning, maintenance, basic landscaping, conference room set up, and general repairs while conducting yourself in a professional manner. Specific duties will include, but are not limited to, cleaning, stocking, and maintaining bathrooms and kitchen areas; vacuuming and dusting entire office area; emptying trash and recyclables; maintaining and cleaning outdoor areas; occasional duties such as stripping and waxing floors; changing light bulbs; steam cleaning carpets; landscaping, mowing and weed eating outside areas; and setting up conference rooms. You will report to an Extension Agent and there will be some interaction with the general public. State law may require a national and state criminal background check and a letter from the Cabinet for Health and Family Services stating the employee is clear to hire based on no findings of substantiated child abuse or neglect found through a background check of child abuse and neglect records as a condition of employment or involvement in this program.

Salary Range:
