Building Custodian - 3rd Shift

This position is available for 3rd Shift only! POSITION SUMMARY

This position promotes the cleanliness of the building at all times.

• Sweeping, mopping or scrubbing, and vacuuming floors
• Removing trash and other refuse
• Cleaning lavatories, showers, and restrooms.
• Performing heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish.
• Notifying management of need for repairs.
• Must be available to work in other areas after primary job duties are completed.
• Teamwork is a vital part of this position

• Communicate effectively in a positive, professional manner with coworkers, clients, and visitors

QUALIFICATIONS

• EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION

AND CERTIFICATION

REQUIRED:

• Must have knowledge of acceptable cleaning maintenance procedures and understanding of occupational safety and health regulations.

PREFERRED

• Experience working under a federal contract or military experience

ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS

As a condition of employment, may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results.

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS

• It is mandatory that all Contractor personnel working onsite at federal facilities meet federal government security clearance standards. The Contractor shall submit security clearance information, for each employee, as required by current government identification card application procedures and future requirements as applicable.
• All employees must be authorized as acceptable by the contracting officer for the prime contract under which this employee is working.
