In person Job Summary A large, well-established Real Estate Development and Property Management company is seeking a reliable and hardworking Porter for residential apartment communities in the Greater Boston/Middlesex County area. The Porter is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall upkeep of the property. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in keeping the community clean, safe, and welcoming for residents, guests, vendors, and staff. Candidates considered at the higher end of the pay range should have prior porter, janitorial, property maintenance, or residential building experience. Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness of lobbies, hallways, stairwells, elevators, laundry rooms, offices, and common areas Remove trash and debris from designated areas Sweep, mop, vacuum, and perform general cleaning duties Maintain exterior areas, sidewalks, entrances, and grounds Assist with apartment turnovers and property preparation as needed Report maintenance or safety concerns to the supervisor Assist maintenance staff with general property needs Participate in snow removal and weather-related cleanup Provide courteous service to residents, vendors, and staff Complete additional duties as assigned by management Qualifications Prior porter, janitorial, cleaning, or property maintenance experience preferred Residential apartment community experience is a plus Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Strong attention to detail Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks Professional and respectful communication skills Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions Weekend availability may be required Benefits Medical insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Life insurance Paid time off 401(k) eligibility after one year
