Janitor/Cleaner

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Janitor/Cleaner to join the Brockton Rox. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining Campanelli Stadium. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and trash removal to uphold high standards of cleanliness. Daily commercial bathroom cleaning. Conduct detailed floor care procedures such as buffing, polishing, and carpet cleaning to maintain pristine surfaces. Maintain restrooms by sanitizing fixtures, replenishing supplies, and ensuring hygiene standards are met consistently. Handle industrial cleaning tasks when necessary, including the use of specialized equipment for large-scale cleaning projects. Assist with facilities maintenance duties such as minor repairs, painting touch-ups, and reporting larger issues requiring professional attention. Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to ensure a hazard-free environment for staff and visitors. Support porter duties by moving supplies, furniture, or equipment as needed to facilitate smooth operations. Requirements Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings. Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, and industrial cleaning methods. Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as buffers, vacuums, and floor scrubbers safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout the shift. Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks for extended periods.
